Find a Better You

WHAT TO EXPECT

AMT classes are practiced in a heated room. The warm temperature stretches muscle fibers and tendons to help prevent injuries as you work out. It also increases circulation throughout the body, enhances immune system function and encourages tissue repair. The heat does make classes a little more challenging. Be ready to sweat.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES

Check out our class schedule here. From the calendar, you'll be able to purchase packages and register for classes. We have a drop-in rate as well if you aren't ready to commit.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • A mat (we have some for you to use if needed)
  • A towel (hand towel and maybe even a towel for over your mat)
  • Water (we have water you can buy or fill up at the fountain)
  • A positive attitude

Our Trainers

Amy Miller

Amy is passionate about helping people believe in themselves and so grateful to each person that shows up to class! She loves encouraging people to push beyond what they ‘think’ they are capable of and find a greater strength within them.

Her mission is that each person leaves class feeling more determined and knowing the sky is the limit if we can discipline our minds. YES YOU CAN!

Hope Paulson

Growing up a ballet dancer, transitioning into a college cross country runner (while practicing yoga on the side), then coaching cross country, and eventually instructing both yoga and lifting classes, Hope has a passion for fitness.  She strives to push individuals to reach their goals, both physically and mentally.  Hope has been practicing yoga for five years and feels blessed with a strong accountability group that challenges her practice on a daily basis.  She believes strongly in the importance of listening to the body and giving it what it needs.

Away from the studio, Hope is a first grade teacher, “fur” mom, painter, and lover of coffee.  Her knowledge of teaching young children enriches her classes…allowing her to fine-tune her instruction to meet the needs of each individual.  Hope will “hopefully” instill a love of yoga in your heart or continue feeding into the passion you already have discovered.

Chelsea Johnston

Chelsea was a D1 collegiate athlete at Indiana University - Bloomington, IN, where she was privileged to be on the Rowing (Crew) Team. Chelsea rowed "stroke" for the 3.5 years she was at IU. While attending IU, she had the privilege of being coached by a prior Olympic Rower and the experience was phenomenal, which is a strength lent to her rowing passion.

Chelsea is honored to be part of a truly amazing community with dedicated people who share each other's strengths, encourage each other's valleys and rejoice in each other's accomplishments. A place where we come to be Alway Motivated Together! Chelsea is excited to be part of AMT because of the empowerment and encouragement each of the instructors brings to the studio and for the foundation that Amy has set. AMT has integrated the importance and expectation of overall wellness into each class while inspiring the mental focus of each individual to drive themselves and those around them to their own next level! Having first hand experience and technical expertise, Chelsea is excited about sharing her passions both physically and mentally with the AMT studio to challenge and to inspire each person who walks through the door!

leanna eastman

Leanna's passion for fitness and introduction to Hot Yoga Sculpt ignited her to start teaching. She loves yoga because it is done at each person's individual pace, which makes it available to people on all levels of fitness. She likes to combine creative sequencing to improve or deepen your own practice. Just Breathe!

Renae Luitjens .jpg

Renae Luitjens

Renae is a Mom of two teenage girls, Brooke and Somer.  Her husband Lance is an assistant Principal here in Sioux Falls. She enjoys spending time with her family and her pets, and keeps busy attending her daughters' many athletic events! Renae and her family moved back to their South Dakota roots two years ago from Colorado, where she and her family lived for nine years.

She has a passion for fitness and had the chance to work with a fitness competitor at her gym in Colorado, where she gained a lot of knowledge in the fitness industry.  Her passion continued to grow, she's taught group fitness for almost 20 years now...  from step classes back in the day ;) to spinning, kickboxing and barre.  Hot yoga sculpt has become a favorite!   Renae played basketball for NSU, and was part of the NAIA National Championship team.  She feels her experience during that time of being a student athlete taught her the value of hard work and commitment.  She got her degree in Physical Education/Health and was a teacher for four years before staying at home with her girls, and has worked from her home for 16 years.

Renae feels blessed to be able to teach at AMT and be part of this positive atmosphere!  Her goal is that everyone leaves her class better than when they walked in, physically, mentally, and spiritually.  Renae's classes are fun, fast paced, and intense!

"Love like you've never been hurt, work like you don't need the money, and dance like nobody is watching!"
